Junior coaching sessions recommenced in January.
Qualified coaches deliver the sessions using feather shuttles. Sessions start from 5.00pm to 6.30pm for Under 11s; followed by Under 14s running from 6.30pm to 8.00pm and Under 18s at 8.00pm until 9.30pm on Friday evenings. Blocks run for 14 weeks at Mascalls School, Paddock Wood TN12 6LT (our home venue).

Huge congratulations to our Bhavana Ratakonda who won a bronze medal in her first ever BE Silver competition (this was a singles medal in an Essex open). Well done Bhavana!
At the Essex Futures Chelmsford in October, Bhavana Ratakonda and partner Tanya Gupta won Silver in the Girls Doubles….then Bhavana and Tanya won Gold in the Futures Thurrock Girls Doubles. Bhavana also took Gold in the Singles.
A few of our fledgling Junior Section members entered the Kent Restricted tournament recently, mostly for experience at a high level. However, all came away having won at least one game.
Congratulations to 9 year old Millie Mugridge (pictured below with big sister Brooke) for winning AIT juniors first ever medal, a bronze in the U-12 girls singles.
